Here is a card I just made for an old buddy of mine. He called a few weeks ago to announce his engagement to his current girlfriend. I couldn't be more happy for them! Welcome to the married couples club dude! haha!!
I used the "Tie the Knot" cartridge for this card. The phrases were soooo freaking hard to work with cause they are so small. It didn't turn out very smooth but from a foot away it looks alright. :) The background paper is My Minds Eye and the cardstock is Recollections Michaels brand. I cuddlebuged the background using the D'Vine Swirl folder.
The next couple weeks are going to be crazy cause the military is making us move to a different house now that we aren't active duty. We have to move less than a half a mile away from the house we currently live in. AND if your familiar with military you know the long list of stuff you have to do in order to get released from your home. I call it toothbrush cleaning. Crazyness!!! So hopefully once the dust settles I'll be able to get back to the normal scrapping schedule. Have a nice night everyone.
Amy :)

Easter Basket Blog Hop
Hey Everybody welcome to the "Easter Basket Blog Hop!!" If you've come here from Kyle's blog over at The Green Cricut you are in the right place. If you've just happened upon my blog and would like to hop along you can start at the very beginning with our blog hop host Joy at Joys Life. I've been her follower for awhile now and I'm so excited to be part of this hop! Let's get to my project!!
This is my easter basket all finished with all the goodies!! I added ribbon to the handle and around the top edge. I also tied some extra ribbon scrap to the sides and added big blue bows on each side of the handle.
My son loves Kit-Kats so I had to spruce up the Kit-Kat bar. This was my first time ever trying out the rosette and I really like how it turned out. It looks like jelly beans!!
(Tip: use a hot glue gun for these I wasted to many glue dots trying to keep this thing together)
This is a revamped notebook from the dollar bin at Michaels! Gotta love that dollar bin!! My son is only 4 but he loves writing his ABC's and watching "How To Draw" videos on youtube and drawing what he watches. He's my little artist so I know he's totally going to love this notebook!! I just had an idea to make little toppers for some markers to go along with this. Maybe that'll be my post tomorrow :)
A close up of the little chick. He is from the adorable Simply Charmed cartridge. If you don't have this one it is a must have!! It's got everything on it and if you're a big Peachy Keen Stamps fan like myself this cart is great for those adorable face stamps!
I laugh everytime I look at this picture. Inside this box is swedish fish but for the easter twist we'll call them bunny poop! My family has a crazy sense of humor!
For the bunny and the basket I used the Create a Critter cartridge my all time fav!! I also used a Peachy Keen Stamp on the bunny face.
I hope my projects have inspired you to think outside the box and to create some cute little goodies for anyone in your life.
Blog Candy: In order to qualify for my blog candy you must leave a comment on this post, be a follower of my blog and "Like" My Facebook Page.
I am giving away a gift certificate to either Joanns or Michaels or Hobby Lobby!!!
I am sorry I have to limit the blog candy to persons living inside the united states.
Again thank you for hopping by my blog, I hope you like what you saw and want to come again! Thank you Joy for having me on this hop! It's been great and I hope I can do another one with you girlies soon!!
Your next stop on the hop is Julie at Cricut Chick

Wool you be mine?
Hey everyone I have so much left over valentines paper and ideas in my head that I had to make this cute little sheep card yesterday. I'll put it in my card stash and maybe use it next year or give it to a friend for their own use.
Materials used are:
Toy Story cartridge for the cute little sheep (I think it's the cutest sheep out there as far as sheeps go on the cartridges)
The sentiment is from my pink stamper
The ribbon is from walmart
Paper is k&company and the house brand at michaels and stampin up (the pink cardstock is S.U.)
The red eyelets are Recollections from michaels (my second time ever using it, I made a mistake on one of them, oh well!)
I hope everyone likes my belated valentine. Have a great day :)

Lucky Charm Blog Hop!!!
Welcome to my Blog and the Lucky Charm Blog Hop! If you've come from visiting Linda at Fancy Framework, you're in the right place. If you were just looking at my blog and want to play along with our blog hopping fun, you can start at the beginning http://crossmyheartpapercrafts.blogspot.com/. This blog hop is all about creating something for the lucky charm in your life..
I created this card for my husband. He's my best friend and I'm very lucky to have him in my life. In a few days we will be celebrating 6 years of marriage. Babe, thank you for being the man in my life, for supporting me and for always being there. You truly are my lucky charmer!!
I used the cricut cartridge called, "Simply Charmed" I just got this cart and I'm totally in love with it. So many great images on it!! The background paper is from the DCWV Celebrations stack. The cardstock is Recollections from Michaels. I used a Peachy Keen Stamp on the pot of gold and a while gel pen for some doodling on the shamrock. Everything has dimensionals on it and I added a purple ribbon to the side.
I hope you enjoyed my project. Thank you for visiting my blog. Your next stop is Lisa at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. Below is a list of all blog participants in case you get lost:

My opinion on the topic of the week!!
This is about the law suit stuff going on with Provo Craft. I've seen alot of upset people and here is my opinion on the matter......
My opinion is that when I bought my machine I was made aware that if I used my machine for 3rd party piggy back programs that had nothing to do with provo craft that my machine would basically be void and that provo craft would not give me a warranty on my machine. To me that means that I shouldn't be using those 3rd party programs on my machine. If I can't afford the cartridges or the up keep matts and blades made by provo craft for the machine that they sell then maybe I shouldn't have purchased the machine at all. I'm not trying to be mean or pissy but I'm very surprised that people are so surprised this is happening. Did you think you would get away with using someone else's machine for free cuts forever? Come on people, it's finally time PC stood up for their products and made people understand they just can't ride on their coat tails.

Clearance Rack Haul!!!
Hey Everybody! I went to Michaels today with the intentions of buying pastel colored cardstock. I only have really bright colors in plain cardstock and wanted a change up. When I got there the cardstock was not on sale so I stumbled over to the clearance section where they have 6 bins of ribbon all for only a dollar. I had to sit there and go thru the weeds but I think I pulled out a bunch of nice ribbon. I don't really have any ribbon so this is a nice stash to start out with. I also got a paperpack that was normally 14.99 for 2.99, a bat punch on sale for 6.99, Some buttons and some dementionals and some zig pens and whatever else is in the picture. What a fun day!!!

I Heart Halloween!!!!
Hey Everybody!! My all time favorite holiday is Halloween!! Every year my hubby and I go on a date night to Fright Fest at Six Flags Great America for their annual Fright Frest celebration. They have 2 haunted houses and our favorite Necropolis walk where you walk thru a haunted area of the park and they have scarey people come out and spook you! We also have a tradition of going to see their longest running show, "Love At First Fright" I've been going to see that show since I was a little girl and now I got my hubby into it. What could be better than Halloween and musicals??!!!
For this layout I used my new paper pack from DCWV called, "The Ultimate Premium Stack" it has 10 mini stacks in one pack that celebrates all the seasons and holidays of the year. It's a great stack! I love it because it's all cardstock. For the cricut cuts I used Mini Monsters, Simply Charmed and Paper Doll Dress Up. I also used Peachy Keen Stamps for the cute little faces on the ghosts, pumpkins and black cat. I inked some of the edges using black ink and pop dotted most of the cuts.
I hope you enjoy!! Thank you for looking. Amy :)

Peachy Keen Challenge 11 (Sew Super)
This is my first time submitting a post for the peachy keen stamps challenge blog!! Wish me luck!!
Yesterday was a great paper stock up day! I got a few DCWV paper stacks and now I'm totally in the mood to dig into my pictures and craft up some layouts! This one I did using my new Simply Charmed cartridge. I also used Accent Essentials for the background flower looking thingy. I loved how this layout turned out! So cute!

MS Blog Hop!!!
If you are coming from Linda at Fancy Framework then you are in the right place. If you are just randomly coming up on this post, please head back to Fancy Framework so that you can see ALL of the fun we have in store for you!
I first want to say that this hop is very close to home for me. My husband was diagnosed with MS in August of 2009. It was such a shock to our family and it has caused lots of struggles in my husbands daily life and in our family’s way of living. He was medically retired from the Navy and we struggle to make ends meet but we still try to stay as positive as we can.
This hop is very unique in that all the projects done by everyone on the hop will be auctioned off and all proceeds will go to the National MS Society. I would love to raise as much money as I can for this cause. The bidding will start at ten dollars. If you like my project and would like to put a bid on it please leave a comment under this post with the word BID and how much your bid is for. Bids will close on March 6th at 8PM. I will contact the winning bidder at that time and give you the details as to how you can make your payment directly to the National MS Society and how I will get the project to you. You can also make a donation to the National MS Society by following this link Donation Center for National MS Society.
Now onto my project! For this hop the subject of each card was Movement. I chose to make a spinner card. This was my first time making one of these cards and I think they are such a cool idea for a card! I made a video to show the "Movement" in my card. It has bad lighting and no talking but it's just to show the coolness of the card. :)
Supplies used were the Plantin Schoolbook, Just Because and Everyday Paperdolls Cricut Cartridges, Stampin Up cardstock, DCWV cardstock, Peachy Keen Stamps, White Gell Pen (for the eyes), Black and Silver Ink, Silver Glittery embossing powder, Tiny Star Punch, Martha Stewart Glitter Glue, Glossey Accents and IROCK with the little yellow IROCK Gems.
To make the stars really shiny and glittery I first covered them in a yellow color of Martha Stewarts glitter glue. I let that dry for a few hours and then I went over that with Glossey Accents. Glossey Accents takes awhile to dry. I usually leave it overnite just to be on the safe side. I also used that same process on the words "Blast Off."
Thank you so much for checking out my post on the MS Blog Hop! Your next stop will be Glora at Gloras Crafts!!
Please stop by all the other ladies blogs and show some love. I'm sure they have some great projects and some great blog candy!!!
Here is the blog hop list just in case you get lost along the way. Happy Hopping!!
P.S. When I first started working on my project I totally forgot that our projects were being auctioned off. So here is a pic of my layout that I made that has "Movement" as the subject but I don't think anyone will want pictures of my son with his grandpa (my dad) on the motorcycle!! hahaha
