Stinkin' Cute

Made my last pay it forward card!! This is being sent to my new bloggy friend Mistyrose . It's a cute little card and I hope she enjoys it. Of course I used CAC. The little skunk just went soooo cute with the MPS punny-licious stamps. And I'm also trying something new (well everyone does it but it's totally new for me) RIBBON!! I made this adorable little bow with bright sparkly pink ribbon I got from michaels. I also used glossey accents on the eyes and over the parts that are glittered. It gives a great shine to the glitter. I love glossey accents!! This isn't a really good picture of the card. I've been scanning my cards cause at first it actually worked and made the cards look nice but this one didn't scan so well. I gotta start busting out my camera again.

You're a Hoot!!!

Here is a card that I made for my new friend Mallika thru the pay it forward blog I had up a few blogs ago. She also has a blog so you should go check out her great work. She's going to send me a card too. This pay it forward is fun. I like making friends with the people in my computer (lol) especially the friends who love paper crafting as much as me!! Onto her card. I of course used Create a Critter cut out a adorable little owl and made her pink. Used a my pink stamper stamp on the top of the card. Inked the edges of the top base with green for the forest theme I had going on. Check it out!!

Michaels

Went to michaels to buy the I Rock but got the Crop A Dile Big Bite instead. Maybe it's just my michaels but all those hot rocks and gems for the I Rock look really cheap and alot of them had the paint peeled off. So I'm hoping my new Big Bite tool will help me out with my project for the up coming blog hop I am in. Yay :)

Pay it Forward Easter Card request

Hey Ya'll! I did my first pay it forward home made card project and wanted to share it with you. The requester Dottie asked for a easter card. I used create a critter, wild card and just because cards cartridges for this design. I also used my cuddle bug on the flowers on the envelope and the top layer of the bunny. I also flocked parts of the bunny. I hope you like it!

A couple days ago I was watching e-news and heard about their avatar maker for the red carpet. Check out my profile pic for the cartoon version of me. They didn't have avatars for freckled face red heads so this is as close to me as I could get. Plus I haven't worn make up in I don't know how long so this is totally a make-believe version of myself. It was fun though!

Challenge me monday #43 Sweet Shop

Today I decided to enter the challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut . The challenge is to incorporate something sweet into your project. I went a totally different way than their design team and the other entries. I am such a halloween freak that when I heard sweet treats I automatically thought of the cute little candy corn from the mini monsters cartridge. This is what I came up with.

Bloggy Goals for 2011

My goal for this year will be to use all my carts. I have quite a few but I always go back to my first love CAC for everything. I want to challenge myself this year and make cards with all the great cartridges that I have. I'm sure I'll squeeze a bunch of CAC crafts in there as well!! hee hee!!

I also want to start actually scrapbooking again. I have about a years worth of pictures and a BFF to hang out with. We need to get our scrap on again Meghan!!

With this all being said my family comes first but I hope to make at least one craft a week. I wanna go to a scrap convention or go on a scrap weekend with my bff. That would be awesome!!

Yesterday I went to Archivers and took a class on vintage valentines day card making. There isn't any cricut diecuts on these cards but I did learn a few new tricks and techniques for my card bases. Here is how my cards turned out!

Aren't they purdy??!!! My hubby is gonna get a very nice valentines day card this year hand made by me! I think I'm gonna send the cupid one with the hand made flowers to my grandparents for their anniversary which is on V-day. They will be married 57 years this year. Hubba Hubba!!
